This neat little game is full of wonderful surprises. It has the great bamboo sprout 1 bamboo, gorgeous flower tiles, including the rarely seen N, S, E and W flowers all housed in a case in simply fabulous condition !

This little gem comes with all its original 148 tiles (144 for play and 4 spares). The game is from the mid to late 1940's and has the original "simpler" style character design confirming its age.

The tiles have a 25/75 split (25% bone and 75% bamboo). Although there are games with thicker bone this game more than makes up for this in its design and unusual tiles.

The game comes in its original leather case. It has lift out trays that hold the tiles and still has its original fabric lining in the lid. The trays are in a matching colour. The box also has its original leather handle which is still securely fastened to the case. The box has a lock on the front and two side locks to keep the tiles safe.
