FANTASTIC BLACK LACQUERED BOX!

The bone & bamboo game offered here for adoption is a lovely 50/50 split bone to bamboo set housed in an out of this world painted black lacquered box. The tiles are beautiful but the box is exceptional. The game is complete with its original 148 tiles (144 for play and 4 spare blanks). The one bamboo is stylized standing Peacock style with very fine engraving. The game is an early to mid 1950's game and has the complex style character tiles. The flowers are detailed and feature colorful plants and herbs. There are two sets of flower bouquets each numbered 1-4.

The best feature of all is the black painted lacquered box. It has designs an all sides and the top and is in great condition. Even the drawer pulls are different - they are small pieces of real bone and are miraculously all still present and working. It has both its top carrying handles and they are strong and secure.

This game would be a wonderful addition to a collection or perhaps the start of a new collection - it would be a wonderful accent piece to any home.
