Description: Royal Depth Control (not to be confused with Royal or Royal Crisloid) was a brand name for the games manufactured by A & L Manufacturing based in Brooklyn, New York. There are two distinct styles of one bamboo the style found in this game and a form of perching pheasant tile reminiscent of the 10 Flowers style one bamboo. This game is from the 1950's and has 8 flowers, 2 bouquets numbered 1-4 and 8 stickered tiles that can be used as jokers. The additional joker tiles have been added from a partial RDC game and are an excellent match - check out the picture of the backs of the tiles. The racks are a swirled Bakelite and the colours are orange/red, forest green, lemon and medium green. The Bakelite E's match each other and are in a lovely butterscotch colour. The case is a trumpet style case with a worn but strong leather handle. Tokens are included. |
