I have been adopted and now have a new home.

I am very pleased to offer this lovely vintage RDC (Royal Depth Control) for adoption from my personal Mah Jong collection.

Royal Depth Control (not to be confused with Royal or Royal Crisloid) was a brand name for the games manufactured by A & L Manufacturing based in Brooklyn, New York.

There are two distinct styles of one bamboo the style found in this game and a form of perching pheasant tile reminiscent of the 10 Flowers style one bamboo.

This game is from the 1950's and has 8 flowers, 4 natural jokers and 4 tiles added from another partial RDC game that have been stickered to use as jokers.

The racks are a swirled Bakelite and the colors are candy apple red (with a hint of orange), light minty green, tangy lemon and beige/butterscotch swirl. The Bakelite E's match each other and are in a lovely butterscotch color and compliment the racks beautifully. All the flippies are working and lots of token are included.

The case is a light beige faux crocodile pattern, its handle is intact and the locks both latch and close properly. It even has its original manufacturers label still in place inside the case's lid.

This game comes from the WBL (worn but lovable) section of my collection. I continue to strive to not to break up complete games and hope someone will be able to find this a great new home!

With 152 tiles this game is ready for play using either NMJL (National Mah Jong League) and/or Chinese rules play.

REMEMBER: Despite my age I have many more years of life left in me ... I may be a little more worn than some games on this website but I know someone will still find me lovable :)
